(i) Your privacy

Artisan Market Your statutory privacy rights will be respected when collecting, holding, storing, using, transmitting or otherwise processing personal data, and this Privacy Policy Statement explains our privacy practices. We promise to comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong. This notice does not limit your rights as a data subject under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Please read the following carefully to understand our policies and practices on how we handle your personal data. This policy may be revised from time to time.

The term "personal data" used in this privacy policy statement has the meaning explained in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

(ii) Categories of personal data collected

The personal information you may be required to provide includes, but is not limited to, your name, gender, age, date of birth, phone number, address, email address, credit card information, education, occupation and interests, etc. If you refuse to provide relevant information and/or provide incomplete or incorrect information, the Company may not be able to provide you with certain services.

If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain the consent of your parent or guardian before providing any personal information to the Company. We will not collect your personal data without your consent.

(iii) The purposes for which we will collect and use your personal data

We may collect your personal information when you shop, participate in relevant promotions or apply to become our member.

If you want to receive certain services provided by us, certain personal information must be provided. Such information will be marked as "Required Information" in the membership application form. If certain personal data is only provided on a voluntary basis, the data will not be marked as "required information" and you can decide whether to provide us with the data.

If you want us to provide any of the following services, you must provide us with your personal information:

(a) To join and maintain your membership as our member;

(b) Accumulate bonus points for being our member;

(c) to notify you of the benefits and offers available to you as our member;

(d) Enjoy the benefits of being a member;

(e) notify any amendments to the Membership Program;

(f) Data cleaning and customer information updating; and

(g) Other ongoing customer support services directly related to members. We may use any personal data provided by you (whether provided on a mandatory basis and/or on a voluntary basis) to enable us to provide you with the following additional services and/or carry out the following activities:

(a) To provide us with a better understanding of our customers’ demographic information;

(b) Conduct internal research and analysis to enable us to properly provide rewards, services and product information or gifts that meet your specific needs;

(c) market research;

(d) Let our customer service team perform follow-up services;

(e) Send member newsletters, membership offers and latest promotion information via email or WhatsApp text messages.

(iv) Disclosure of personal data

If we collect personal data from you, we will:

(a) inform you (either in this privacy policy statement or through a separate notice) that we are collecting your information and the purposes for which we collect the personal information;

(b) where relevant, provide you with the opportunity to opt-out and object to certain uses of your personal data (including but not limited to the circumstances described below); and

(c) Inform you how we will store your personal data and how you can access, change and delete the personal data we hold.

The personal data we collect and hold about you will be treated confidentially, but we may disclose the data to the following persons (whether within or outside Hong Kong) for the purposes set out above for collecting the data:

(a) Any subsidiaries, subsidiaries, holding companies, affiliates or companies or associated companies under the same control of Artisan Market;

(b) any agents, contractors or third party service providers who provide administrative, telecommunications, computer and other services to us in connection with the processing and storage of your information (collectively, "Third Party Providers");

(c ) any actual or proposed transferee, transferee or successor to the business of all or any part of Artisan Market’s assets, shares or services;

(d) Governmental and regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies and other organizations required or authorized by applicable laws within or outside Hong Kong;

The third-party supplier has a duty of confidentiality and is bound by the terms of the contract to protect the privacy of your personal data and can only use your personal data for the purposes set out in paragraph (b) above, and not for the purposes of the third-party supplier ( including direct marketing).

(v) Direct marketing

We may also use your personal data including name, telephone number, residential address and email address for direct marketing purposes. In accordance with legal requirements, we will not use your personal data for direct marketing unless we have obtained your consent (including an indication of no objection).

If you agree, your personal data may be used for the following purposes:

(a) Notify you of new product launches and other promotional offers;

(b) To inform you about our promotional activities, including product discount packages and the latest news; (d) The latest news about marketing reward programs, birthday offers, free trial products and promotions

If at any time you do not wish us to use your personal data for the direct marketing purposes described above, you may exercise your opt-out rights by contacting us.

(vi) Security

The personal information you provide to the Company will be securely stored in the Company's customer service system and can only be accessed by authorized personnel who have received training on our privacy policy.

(vii) Cookies

Cookies ("data stored on the user's local terminal") refer to a function that stores records of your visits to this website in the form of compressed and encrypted text files on your computer or mobile device. The cookies used on this website do not have the function of identifying individual users, and the information collected through cookies will not include your email address, name or other personal information. (ix) Right to access, correct and delete data

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to check whether we hold personal data about you and to request access, correction and deletion of any personal data about you in our records. If at any time you wish to exercise any of the above rights, please send us an email

(x) Storage of data

We will only retain your personal data for the purposes necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is or will be used (including any directly related purposes). When you conduct business with our company, our company will keep all your transaction records for audit purposes. The Company's internal policy is to retain such data for a reasonable period of time and to delete personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. As set out in paragraph (ix) above, you also have the right to request that the personal data we hold about you be deleted.
